SMALL BREEDERS CLUB

We are looking for like minded people to become involved in a small breeders club.

Currently we have two mares in foal to Phoenix Reach, the first season stallion we are promoting.

We also have a horse in training called Bay Hawk with Brendan Powell, who after a setback has just returned into training. Bay Hawk is also from the same sire as Phoenix Reach, Alhaarth.

The club will give people the opportunity to learn everything about the breeding side of horse racing, give people the opportunity to go racing, visit the mares,visit The National Stud and see Phoenix Reach and next year, hopefully see the two Phoenix Reach foals on the ground.

The numbers will be limited for the first year, and the club will be launched at Lingfield racecourse on the 23rd August 2007 where Phoenix Global Marketing are sponsoring a race.

The Phoenix Global Marketing experience will give people a real chance to get involved with the mares, the foals and with a racehorse already in training.

Initially, for the first year, people subscribing, will get updates on the mares and to follow their progress for 12 months as their foals are born to then follow their progress to.

We will be organising a visit to The National Stud to meet Phoenix Reach and the staff that look after him, arrange days out at the races, hopefully when Bay Hawk runs, a visit to Lambourn to meet Brendan Powell, the trainer of Bay Hawk. There will also be a visit organised to meet the two mares. Katy Q is currently in Louth in Lincolnshire and Art Series is currently in Wantage. Both mares are enjoying fantastic facilities that are ideal for the development of the mares and subsequently for their foals too.
